The launches highlights SOTIC’s desire to develop its product across new sporting markets. 

Long established as the first choice solution of the rugby union web market with seven governing body and tournament websites and eleven top-flight union clubs, provinces and regions amongst the client base in the UK and Ireland, the decisionof both Leeds Rhinos and Harlequins RL to team up with SOTIC sees the company making its first foray into the world of the engage Super League. 

Launching a website for the reigning engage Super League champions, Leeds Rhinos, saw the first usage of rugby league statistics on a SOTIC website and required an extensive rethink of the database structure to ensure that rugby league data was delivered with the same accuracy and depth as the company’s rugby union sites and provide it with future compatibility with other sports. 

Leeds Rhinos’s website also saw the introduction of SOTIC’s ‘in-page’ flash player to deliver the club’s vast array of multimedia output. The new multimedia solution allows files to sit smoothly and cleanly within the context of news article.
The partnership with Harlequins Rugby League sees SOTIC’s presence at  the Twickenham Stoop extend beyond its ties with the rugby union section of the historic club.
